Wilbert "Willie" Hoffer, 79, of Turtle Lake, ND passed away July 30, 2024 in Turtle Lake.

A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 6th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, rural Turtle Lake, with Pastor Steve Vetter officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of service.

Wilbert "Willie" was born March 24, 1945 in Turtle Lake, ND to Walter & Elizabeth (Boschee) Hoffer.  He attended school in Turtle Lake and later assisted on the family farm with his parents for many years.  Willie also worked at the Turtle Lake Livestock/Weigh Station for several years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing cards.  He is remembered for his love of collectibles and attending auction sales.

He is survived by his siblings, Lillian Vogel of Bismarck, Esther Tschider of Mandan, Ida Sommers of Fargo, Irene Amundson of Princeton, KY, Bernice (Jim) Schatz of Bismarck, & David Hoffer of Bismarck; along with many nieces & nephews, as well as several great nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 siblings (Edna & Reuben).
