Wanda L. Jesser, 72, Garrison, ND formerly of Coleharbor, ND died April 17, 2023 at the Benedictine Living Community, Garrison.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Garrison with Father Basil Atwell officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Coleharbor Cemetery.  The mass will be livestreamed at the bottom of the obituary on this page.

Wanda was born December 7, 1950 in Garrison the daughter of Roy and Jeanette (Gertz) Kerzman.  She attended school in Coleharbor and Underwood where she graduated in 1968.  She also attended Minot State College where she graduated with a degree in accounting.  Wanda married Rodney Jesser on December 1, 1970 in Washburn, ND.  They lived in Coleharbor and Wanda worked as a payroll accountant for Medcenter One in Bismarck.  Due to a stroke Wanda had been a resident of the Prairieview Nursing Home in Underwood and the Benedictine Living Center in Garrison for the last 17 years.  She enjoyed quilting, knitting crocheting, gardening and flowers.  Wanda will always be remembered for her outstanding cooking abilities and for her love of family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Brian Jesser of Coleharbor; her granddaughter, Candice Jesser of Coleharbor; her sisters, Carol (Thomas) Pelletier of Bismarck, Barb Hillary of Oceanside, CA and Karen Scholl of Bismarck; her sister-in-law, Cindy Kerzman of Coleharbor and her brother-in-law, Richard Wiese of Henning, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2011; her son, Monty in 2015; a sister, LaVonne Wiese and her brothers, Wayne Kerzman, Larry Kerzman and Boyd Louser.
