Obituary
W.D. (Waldenmor) Heinle, 81, formerly of Washburn, ND died November 25, 2013 in California.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 14th, 2013 at the Washburn United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Peder Anderson. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Goetz Funeral Home, Washburn. Visitation will continue one hour before services Saturday at the church.
Dave was born September 14, 1932 and was raised in Turtle Lake and worked in the surrounding areas of Mclean County. He moved to Sacramento, California to join his grandparents. Dave married Shirley Tweeten on July 3, 1954 in Carson City, Nevada. They raised a family of five, Robert, Debora, David, John, and Michael in Midway City. Dave's past time was enjoying the grandchildren and great-grandchildren at family gatherings. What he loved most was going back to the family farm in Washburn during his summers. His favorite activities were playing pool and Bingo at the Washburn Senior Center, and cherished his horses. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, Midway City, CA; four sons and daughters-in-law: Robert (Cindi) Heinle, Fountain Valley, CA, David (Tania) Heinle, Westminster, CA, John (Laura) Heinle, Garden Grove, CA and Michael (Christine) Heinle, Fountain Valley, CA; one daughter, Debora Werksman, Corona, CA; 13 grandchildren: David, Melanie, Brittany, Nicholas, Krystal, Oliver, Abagail, Shelby, Tony, Fernanda, Ivonne, Faith and Christopher; 6 great-grandchildren: Sydney, Taylor, Madison, Andreya, Isabel and Giuliana; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Dick Heinle, Turtle Lake, ND, Jim (Nan) Heinle, Rosemont, MN and Dixie Heinle, Harker Heights, TX; four sisters and brothers-in-law: Orpha Evans, Grove, OR, Mona (Frank) Schaan, Minot, ND, Doris (Burnell) Repnow, Minot, ND, Ana (Buck) Bucholz, Gackle, ND and Gene Scaalf, Prescott, AZ.
He is preceded in death by his brothers: Jack, Marvin, Herb and sisters: Ruth and Ruby.
