Wade Wall, age 58 of rural Mercer, ND died Wednesday, October 8 at his home.

Interment: Zion Lutheran Cemetery – rural Mercer, ND
Visitation: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Mercer.
There will be no visitation on Monday.
Wade Douglas Wall was born August 24, 1950 to Alvin & Ruth (Gilbertson) Wall. He lived on the family farm south of Mercer and attended Zion Lutheran Church with his family. Wade attended school in Mercer and graduated from Mercer High School in 1968. He continued his education at North Dakota State University in Fargo and graduated with a B.S.of Agriculture Education degree in 1972. Wade married his high school sweetheart, Doris Fischer, on June 18, 1971 at Zion Lutheran Church. They lived on the family farm which they took over in 1976 from Wade's father, Alvin Wall. To this loving union, two children were born, Michelle Jean Wall and Wade Douglas Wall, Jr. Wade took great pride in raising and selling Registered Charolais cattle for 29 years. He also operated a small grains farm for 36 years and loved watching his crops grow. Wade enjoyed spending time with his family and friends , hunting, flying his airplane, and riding his Harley motorcycle. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley with family members and fishing with his dad. Wade passed away after a valiant fight with cancer which he lived with since 2003.
Grateful and honored to share in his life are his loving wife, Doris of Mercer;
daughter, Michelle Wall of Bismarck; son and daughter-in-law, Wade & Tammy Wall of Bismarck; mother, Ruth Wall of Bismarck; sister, Nicklyn Tingum and friend Merlyn Mellom of Fargo; mother-in-law, Emma Fischer of Turtle Lake; special sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Darlene & Kenny Lasher of McClusky; as well as sisters-in-law, Donna McClintock of Missouri; and brothers-in-law, Fred (Rose) Fischer of Mercer & Melvin (Karen) Fischer of Bismarck. Wade also left behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by father (Alvin Wall), grandparents (William & Katherine Wall, Clarence & Carolyn Gilbertson), father-in-law (Emil Fischer), and special friends (Robert Wardner & Terry Kurle).
