Vivian Viola (Voth) Kraft, 94 of Turtle Lake went home to be with Jesus on January 30, 2022.   She was the last surviving child of Frank and Anna (Schultz) Voth.  Private family services will be held with the burial in the Turtle Lake Cemetery.

Vivian was born May 27, 1927 on a farm near Benedict, ND.  She attended country school and worked on the family farm.  She married Warren D. Kraft on January 4, 1948 in Garrison.  Following their marriage, they lived on a farm outside of Turtle Lake.  They milked cows, raised chickens, did some small grain farming and raised their 4 children.

Vivian worked as a house cleaner for many ladies in the Turtle Lake area.  She also cleaned at the Farmers Union.  Vivian enjoyed making beadwork ornaments, which each grandchild received for Christmas.  She was also a very gifted quilter and each of her grandchildren also received a quilt.

She is survived by her children, Gerald (Peggy) Kraft of Apache Junction, AZ, Jim (Deb) Kraft of Turtle Lake, ND, Janice (Donnie) Schmidt of Benedict, ND and a son-in-law, Vyron Lelm of Turtle Lake, ND; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and another due in March; 3 sisters-in-law, Helen Wittrup, Betty Voth and Freda Voth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; daughter, Jeanette Lelm, infant daughter, Sharon; infant granddaughter, Misty; 3 brothers and 8 sisters.
