Vivian Hansen, 91, of Wilton, ND, passed away on August 5, 2022 at the Turtle Lake Hospital where she had been a resident for the last 2 ½ years.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, Wilton with Pastor Chuck Pedersen officiating.  Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Vivian was born in Wakpala, SD on November 19, 1930, the daughter of Chester and Regina (Bonk) Powell.  She attended schools in South Dakota and graduated from St. Alexius School of nursing in 1948.  She married Robert H. Hansen on December 20, 1948 and they had three children: Merton, Susan and Geraldine.

Throughout her years, Vivian was a wonderful homemaker, along with working at Maxine's, Redwood Village and St. Alexius Hospital.  She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, playing cards and baking.  She loved to share her baked goods with many.  She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Vivian is survived by her children: Merton (Liz) Hansen of Wilton, Susan (Paul) Schulz of Washburn and Geraldine (Paul) Langerud of Kimberly, ID; six grandchildren:  Becki, Sheena, Robby, Kelly LeAnn and Janna; seven great grandchildren: Madison, Peyton, Aaron, Asher, Finley, Jordan, and Hailey; one step great grandchild, Caitlyn and two great great grandchildren: Axel and Leah.  Two brothers: Richard and Thomas and two sisters:  Barbara and Edith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and several brothers and sisters.
