Terry A. Kost, 76, Mandan, ND formerly of Washburn, ND died January 29, 2019 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Family will greet family and friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Monday, February 4, 2019 at Goetz Funeral Home, Washburn.  Cremation has taken place and interment will be held in the spring at Riverview Cemetery, Washburn.

Terry A. Kost was born October 31, 1942 in Washburn, ND the son of Albert and Eunice (Keck) Kost. He was raised and educated in Washburn. He graduated from Washburn High School in 1960. He farmed and ranched with his father. He farmed and ranched until the later 1970's. Terry also served in the US Army reserve for 6 years. Terry lived in Washburn and Killdeer until becoming a resident of Lakewood Landing in Mandan.

As a young man, Terry enjoyed riding saddle bronc in rodeos and raising and breaking horses.

Terry is survived by his brothers, Don Kost and Jim Kost both of Washburn; his nieces, Cindy (Terry) Walcker and Chondra Kost and a nephew, Shannon (Lisa) Kost.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Kost.
