Staci Carpenter, six month old infant daughter of Traci Albrecht & Eric Carpenter of Minot, ND passed on to her heavenly home on January 16th, 2011 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, Jan. 22nd at Sunne Lutheran Church of rural Wilton with Pastor Paul Schauer officiating.

Interment will take place at a later date in Sunne Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at Goetz Funeral Home in Washburn.

Staci Ann entered this world early on July 30, 2010 wanting to give her mommy the best birthday present she ever had. She was born at Univ. of Minnesota Fairview Hospital where she touched the lives of many nurses in the N.I.C. unit. In her first months she responded very well to kangaroo care with her parents. As she got older, she would watch her mobile above her until her mommy came, often keeping one eye open to peek on her. Although Staci was only with us for a short time, she touched the hearts and minds of many people.

She is survived by her loving parents, Traci & Eric of Minot; grandparents, Terry & Michelle Albrecht of Regan, ND, & Brenda Albers of Douglas, ND; great grandparents, Lawrence & Rita Albrecht of Lincoln, ND; aunts, Loni Carpenter, Monique Albrecht, & Monica Albrecht; uncles, John (Darcy) O'Conner, & Tyler Albrecht; and many cousins.

Staci was preceded by her grandfather (David Carpenter), great-grandmother (Rebecca Stevahn), & great-grandfather (Edmund Nyberg).
