Sheryl Emmerich, 74, Underwood, ND died July 10, 2024 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.

A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, August 16 at 3pm at the Black Nugget, Underwood.  Please stop by to share memories and a time to be together.

Sheryl was born in Kansas on October 11, 1949.  She spent her time with her longtime companion, her bird Chico.  Sheryl was always a listening ear and in her words, "Porch therapy".  She loved when friends would come to visit to share stories or a call to reminisce.  She enjoyed cooking, and making snacks for friends, events, and graduations in the area.  Everyone could rely on unsolicited advice with a splash of humor.

Sheryl moved to Underwood from Wisconsin in 2005.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy (Ken) Bettencourt of CA; and a nephew, Matt Wall of CA.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley (Awalt) Bryant, and her father, Duane Bryant.

Those who knew Sheryl will find peace knowing her earthly struggles are over and she is resting peacefully.
