Sharon (Britton) Weible was born on July 7, 1947, the daughter of Edgar and Sylvia Britton of Turtle Lake ND. She grew up in a loving home with her parents and her sister Valerie.  Sharon met her future husband Westley (Wes) Weible while they both attended Turtle Lake High School, from where they graduated together in the spring of 1965. Sharon then attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, and received her degree in nursing in May of 1969.

Sharon and Wes were married on August 23, 1969 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Underwood, ND. The young couple settled in Grand Forks, ND where Sharon began working as a registered nurse, while Wes completed his teaching degree. Wes worked for 10 years, first as a teacher, then as superintendent, at various schools while Sharon continued her nursing career.  In April of 1975, Sharon and Wes welcomed their daughter Heidi into their family, followed by their daughter Tammy in August of 1977. They moved back to Turtle Lake in the fall of 1979 when Wes took over the family farm.

Sharon worked at the Turtle Lake Community Memorial Hospital for over 30 years, first as a registered nurse, then later as the Swing Bed Coordinator, before finally retiring.

Sharon had battled a debilitating heart disease for most of her adult life. Finally, in November of 2006, she was blessed to receive a heart transplant, which granted her almost 15 additional years with her family. Sharon enjoyed travelling with Wes for Farmers Union conventions, spending family time with her daughters and grandchildren, and going shopping. She even discovered a love for camping over the last several years after she and Wes purchased their first camper. They spent almost every weekend throughout the last several summers taking their camper to outings with family and friends, making their camper almost like their second home.

Sharon leaves behind her husband Westley of Turtle Lake, ND; daughter Heidi (Doug) Quinn and their children Logan, Brady, Zachary, and Matthew Quinn of Wilton, ND; daughter Tammy (Chad) Porsborg and her children Blake, Brooklynn (special friend Tyler Tharp), and Bo Anderson, along with step-grandchildren Chance and Brody Porsborg of Bismarck, ND; her sister, Valerie (Robert) Besserud of Minot, ND; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Britton and Sylvia (Britton) Zwicker and her father and mother-in-law, Eddie Weible and Vi (Weible) Stadler.
