Sharon Fylling, 75, of Ruso, ND, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2018 at CHI Community Memorial Hospital in Turtle Lake, ND.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church of rural Turtle Lake with Pastor Randy Emgarten officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church and will continue Thursday one hour prior to time of service at the church. There will also be a prayer service at 7:00 PM Wednesday at the church.

Sharon was born March 16, 1943 in Page, ND the daughter of Ralph and Lucille (Baasch) Benzmiller. She was raised and educated in Silver City, Coleharbor and Underwood. She married the love of her life, Leon Fylling on June 21, 1962 at Peace Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake. Sharon worked for the Turtle Lake/Mercer School District as a bus driver for 42 years.

She enjoyed baking, canning, gardening, collecting angels and Precious Moments and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Sharon will always be remembered for her excellent buns and caramel rolls. She always provided the buns at holiday gatherings. Leon always had baked goodies in his lunch and the neighbor kids would come for fresh cookies. The grandkids would often say, "We want to live with grandma".  Sharon received a kidney from her son-in-law Shane Sellon's brother, and lived with it for 22 years.

Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Sherri (Brent) Sanders of Washburn, & Dawn (Shane) Sellon of Turtle Lake; one son, Cory (Jody) Fylling of Ruso, ND; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dallas (Vickie) Benzmiller of Coleharbor, ND; a sister, Susan Stebbins of Bismarck and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter (Shelley), one granddaughter (Tiffany Dawn Green), two brothers (Richard and infant Dewight) and her step father (RC Stebbins).
