Obituary

Shana Davis Morgan, age 65, of Falkirk, N.D., died at her home on November 30, 2020. In accordance with her wishes, her cremated remains are interred in the Littleton Cemetery in Littleton, Colo.  In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial gathering will be postponed until a later date.

Named Florence Haering Good at birth, Shana was born on January 12, 1955 to Bertha Florence (Halliday) and George Allin Good in Waldwick, N.J. At the age of 13 she moved with her family to Littleton, Colo. She graduated from Arapahoe High School and Arapahoe Community College, and enjoyed down-hill skiing and swimming. Shana married Richard "Dick" Lee Morgan in 1978.

While raising five children, Shana taught preschool and later directed the program at Rising Stars preschool, Ascension Lutheran Church in Littleton. She also taught at Great Escape preschool at Littleton United Methodist Church. In 1994, Shana and Dick retired and moved to Falkirk, N.D. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, as well as traveling, gardening, sewing, quilting, cooking and baking, completing home-improvement projects, and cross-country skiing.

She is survived by five children and ten grandchildren; Clark (Leslie) Morgan of Centennial, Colo., and their children, Maddie and Lily; Robin (John) Scherrer of Sterling, Va. and their son Rollins; Glynis (Neil) Ross of Kincraig, Scotland, and their children, Morwynna, Tristan, Donald, Ava-Corriena and Esmé-Sophia; Rhondda Morgan of Falkirk, N.D.; and Meridyth (Chris) Patrick of Peoria, Ariz. and their children, Colin and Freida; and one brother George (Jamie Richardson) Good of Boulder, Colo.; and five sisters, Jackie Englehart of Bozeman, Mont.; Cindy Shaw of Colorado Springs, Colo., Vicky Good of Denver, Colo., Suzanne Good of Beaverton, Ore., and Jeanne (Chad) Gilmore of Coos Bay, Ore.

Shana was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one grandson (Coleman Frank Scherrer).
