Scott "Bottoo" D. Hieb, 47, Mercer, ND died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Mercer.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, 1701 Sunset Drive, Mandan, ND.

Scott was born November 12, 1974 in Harvey, ND the son of Dean and Deb (LaCoe) Hieb.  He was raised and educated in Goodrich, ND, Wilton, ND, Bismarck, ND and Chandler, AZ.  While in school he was a member of the Cub Scouts and Special Olympics and enjoyed Taekwondo.  He attended Job Corps in Utah where he received a degree in cooking.

He loved his dogs and listening to all kinds of music for hours on end and fishing.  Scott also loved the Green Bay Packers, classic cars and muscle cars, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Scott will always be remember for his silliness and his ability to make people laugh.  He was always there for you when you were hurting or had been hurt by someone and always had your back.  He cared deeply for his family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.  He had a heart of gold and lived life to the fullest!  He would often end a conversation with his family with an "I love you mom"/"I love you sissy" God Bless!

He is survived by his parents, Dean and Deb Hieb; his sister, Jen Hieb; his brothers, Richard, Travis and Jesse Hieb; his nephews and nieces, Jake and Codi Olson, Mercedes Jacobs (Donnie Harrison Jr.) and Corbin Barker; his great nephews and nieces, Carter Weichel-Olson, Malakai Harrison, Maliyah Harrison and Gabriella Olson.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Perina Hieb and Ellsworth and Betty LaCoe; his cousins, Nathan Grad and Ricky Hieb and numerous aunts and uncles.
