Sandy L. Landenberger, 71, Underwood, ND died February 11, 2020 at CHI Community Memorial Hospital, Turtle Lake, ND. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Underwood with Deacon Jodi Lorenz officiating.

Sandy was born June 21, 1948 in Garrison, ND the daughter of Ervin and Louise (Inkster) Peterson. She was raised and educated in Garrison. She graduated from the Garrison High School in 1966. Sandy met the love of her life, Ray Landenberger and they were married on October 8, 1966 in Underwood. They lived SW of Underwood where they farmed/ranched and raised their family. The moved into Underwood in 1987 where Sandy worked as a cook for area restaurants.

She enjoyed playing softball, fishing, bowling and playing bingo. Sandy will always be remembered for the fun times had with family and friends. Sandy is now winning the big jackpot, playing the "Red, White and Blue 7's" in heaven.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ray of Underwood; her son, Jason (Tamara) Landenberger of Turtle Lake and her daughter, Tami (Ernie) Moore of Beaver Dam, KY; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her sisters, Vicki Peterson of Pierre, SD and Elva (Norm) Karlson of Roseglen, ND and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ervin Jr. "Bimbo" Peterson and Francis "Ole" Peterson and her sisters, Becky Hitchings, Phyllis Kyllo, Ardella "AJ" Arndt and Bertina "Birdie" Chase.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the CHI Community Hospital Activity Department in Turtle Lake.
