Ruth A. Kresen, 76, recently of Washburn and Garrison, ND, formerly of Plano, Illinois, died September 27, 2015 at the Garrison Memorial Hospital in Garrison. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Illinois.

Ruth Ann Kresen was born September 21, 1939 in Aurora, Illinois to William F. & Helen O. (Wilkie) Kresen. She attended school in Aurora, IL and graduated from high school. Ruth worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. She retired in 2001 and moved to Plano, IL where she was active in her church activities. Due to her declining health, she recently moved to North Dakota to spend her final days with her relatives, Dennis & Cheryl Van Hoorn of Washburn, ND.
