Ruby Jean Beasley, 80, Bismarck ND went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2022 at Missouri Slope Nursing Home, Bismarck.   She was born on the 9 ^th of September in 1942.  Ruby Jean was the ninth child to join Albert & Mamie (Larson) Roland's loving family in Duluth MN.

She grew up in the Duluth area where she met the love of her life, Ron Beasley.  They were married in January of 1958.  God blessed the young happy couple with five children Rhonda, Laura, Suzy, Ron Jr., and Scott. Due to Ron's job, the family moved a lot and in the mid-seventies the family moved to Washburn, North Dakota.  She also lived in Bismarck, Fargo, and Wahpeton.

Ruby's greatest passion was her family. They meant everything to her. She loved to read and enjoyed her retail therapy, collecting figurines, and had a shoe collection like no other. She had a great sense of humor, she passed that trait along to all her children.  When she smiled, she would light up a room.  Ruby also had a great love for music. Towards the end of her life this week with her kids and grands all by her side we would play some of her favorite music and sing to her.  She always gave the best hugs and would never ever end a phone call or goodbye without saying, "I love you". Mom, we love you!

Ruby will be forever remembered, deeply loved, and greatly missed by her children, Rhonda Reinhardt of Zap, ND, Suzanne (Steve) Richards of Washburn ND, Ron (Twila) Beasley of Buffalo MN, Scott (Jessica Velazquez) Beasley of Fargo ND; her grandchildren, Thomas (Alexandrea Fischer) Carlson, Cory Carlson, April (Lee Anderson) Carlson, Tanner (Nancy) Reinhardt, Laura (Matt) Gardner, Jerry (Kayli) Richards, A.J. (Kara) Richards, Geoff (Karina) Beasley, Heather (Bipul Lama) Beasley, Michael Beasley, Daniel (Amy) Beasley, Natasha (Marc) LeDoux, Shaelyn Beasley and Samara Velazquez;  her nineteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her sister, Alice (John) Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; infant daughter, Laura Jean; her parents, Albert and Mamie Roland; her brothers, George Roland, Melvin Roland and Harold Roland; her sisters, Genevieve Johnson, Betty Sherman, Myrtle Daniels, Lillian Peterson and an infant sister.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of Ruby's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Duluth, MN with Pastor Kenny Hale officiating.  Interment will be held in the Sunrise Memorial Park, Duluth.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
