Roy Richter, age 17 of Underwood, ND, the son of Michelle & Mark Driessen of Underwood, and Glen Richter of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at a Bismarck hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, July 27th at Augustana Lutheran Church in Underwood with Pastor Joel Sherer officiating.

Burial will be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Visitation for Roy's friends and classmates will be held from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM Monday at Augustana Lutheran Church. Public visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Monday and continue on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.

Roy Steven Richter was born on May 10, 1993 in Miles City, MT. He attended Underwood High School and would have entered his senior year this fall. Roy's favorite activities were rollerblading, swimming, playing video games with his brothers, driving around and hanging out with his many friends. He was devoted to his family and friends and his smile and laughter will be a part of our lives forever. He will never be forgotten.

Roy is survived by his parents; one sister, Courtney Richter of Underwood; three brothers, Chris Richter, Brandon Richter, & Levi Driessen, all of Underwood; his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harley Houser & Marvin Richter.
