Rosina Deis, 91, Linton, ND died June 8, 2021 in the Linton Hospital, Linton, ND.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton with Father David Zimmer officiating.  Interment will be held in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at the church in Linton.

Rosina was born August 22, 1929 on a farm near Linton the daughter of Michael and Bertha (Nagel) Nagel. She grew up on the farm and attended country school.  Rosina married Frank Deis on June 14, 1950 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church.  They lived and farmed north of Linton until retiring in 1985.  They moved into Linton in 1986.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church where she was a lector, Eucharistic Minister, sang in the choir, taught catechism and was a member of the Christian Mothers.  Rosina was a member of the Linton Senior Citizens and delivered meal on wheels.  She loved to bowl, play horseshoes and to cook and bake for her family.

Rosina is survived by her two sons, Duane and Dianna Deis of Grand Island, NE and Dean and Ardella Deis of Linton; her five daughters, Betty and Kevin Collins of Boise, ID, Bertha and Bill Wilson of Bismarck, ND, Renee and Dale Grosz of Wahpeton, ND, Sharon and Mike Heppner of Tucson, AZ and Tina and Joe Bichler of Topeka, KS; her 13 grandchildren; her 19 great grandchildren; her brothers, Issy  (Jan) Nagel of Auburn, WA and Mike (Ellen) Nagel of Bismarck; her sisters, Ann Feist of Bismarck, Rosemary (Ray) Schneider of Fargo, ND, Lucy Horner of Sun City, AZ and Phyllis (Tom) Kukowski of Georgetown, MN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years in 2012; a stillborn daughter and great grandson; a granddaughter, Amy Deis; three brothers, Max Nagel, Frank Nagel and Matt Nagel; two sisters, Regina Schmidt and Darlene Brandt.
