Ronald Pfennig, 76, Grand Forks, ND died March 8, 2023 at Valley Senior Living on Columbia, Grand Forks. A graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens of Bismarck on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM.

Brother Ron was born December 29, 1946 to Friedebert and Leone (Beck) Pfennig at Beulah North Dakota.

Ron was burdened with some health issues since infancy, but he tried to live his best life. He attended various schools in North Dakota before settling down in Grand Forks. Ron had a kind heart and considered everyone a friend. He was always ready with a smile to say hello to anyone who had a moment to share with him. He had an abiding love for his nieces and nephews. He could call out the make and model of most 50s and 60s cars and trucks that he saw on the street. He enjoyed farm tractors and he had an amazing collection of his favorites. He always had a pet bird flying around his apartment where it was allowed. Ron loved to eat and was never known to leave food on his plate.

If Ron could speak now he would give a special thank you to Shanon and Marie Schauer for always taking him in on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

He is survived by his 2 brothers, Wilfred (Will), Casper, WY and Wally, Grand Forks, ND as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother Leone in 2008 and his father Fred (Friedebert) in 2015, an older brother Delmar in 1991, and a younger sister Leah (Blanche) Vorachek in 1995.
