Bobbi Jo Anderson, age 49 of Riverdale, ND died January 4, 2017 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Monday, January 9, 2017 at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church in Underwood with Rev. Patrick Cunningham as celebrant. Burial will take place in the spring in the St. Bonaventure's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a rosary and prayer service held at 7:00 pm all at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church, Underwood. Visitation will continue for 1 hour before the services at the church.

Roberta Jo was born on December 9, 1967 in New Rockford to Robert and Gloria (Graving) Bartlett. She was raised and educated in Courtenay and Wimbledon, ND. She graduated from Wimbledon High School in 1986. She continued her education, graduating from Valley City State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in English. Bobbi Jo worked at First Community Credit Union in Valley City and Bismarck. In 1995 she moved to Underwood where she worked at Cottingham Insurance, McLean Electric in Garrison and later as the Business Manager for the Underwood School System, most recently she worked as the Business Manager for the Garrison School System. Bobbi Jo's career as a Business Manager was important to her and it showed in her integrity and dedication to the Schools and their employees. The trust they placed in her and the friendships she made meant so much to Bobbi Jo. She was united in Marriage to Dan Anderson at St. Bonaventure's Church in Underwood on October 2, 2010. Together they made their home in Riverdale.

Bobbi Jo enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, and traveling. Her travels took her too many places for plays, concerts and many, many Bison Football games. She also enjoyed visiting and coffee with friends, she was especially fond of her Starbucks coffee.

Bobbi Jo was a women of great faith, she attended many adult bible studies and went on several Cursillo weekends. Bobbi Jo's great joy was to spend time with family, to inspire and enjoy fun times, to guide and protect generously.

She is survived by her husband Dan of Riverdale, ND; one daughter, Taylor Sorensen of Riverdale, ND; her mother, Gloria Bartlett of Jamestown, ND; a brother, Shayne Bartlett of Tulsa, OK; and a sister Kara (Jason Frey) Bartlett of Jamestown, ND, nieces and nephews: Tucker and Lindsay Bartlett and Lawson and Liam Frey; stepsons: Jonathan Anderson of Fargo, ND and Michael Anderson of Phoenix, AZ; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Hilda and Vernon "Cubby" Anderson of Valley City, ND; sister-in-law: Gail Anderson, Fargo, ND and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2008.
The family prefers memorials to the Bismarck Cancer Center.
