Richard Wolf, 76, Ruso, ND died February 7, 2024 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, rural Turtle Lake with Pastor Paul Schauer officiating.  Interment will be held in the Ruso Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday. February 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Richard was born January 17, 1948 in Carrington, ND the son of John A. and Delores M. (Suydam) Wolf.  He was raised and educated in Bordulac, Manfred and Fessenden.  He graduated from the Fessenden High School in 1966.  He also attended NDSU and Minot State College.  He graduated from Minot State College in 1969 with degrees in Math and Physical Education.  Richard worked as a route salesman for the Coca-Cola Company for many years.  He was very involved with amateur sports in the state of North Dakota.  He could often be found umpiring softball games and refereeing basketball games.  He married Delilia Sheelar on March 26, 2005 in Benedict, ND and they lived North of Strawberry Lake.  The highlight of Richard's summer included driving around Strawberry Lake and visiting.

He is survived by his wife, Delilia and their two sons, Jacob and Zachary all of Ruso; his siblings, Paul (Colette) Wolf of Kensal, ND, Ken Wolf of Las Vegas, NV, Mary (LeRoy) Eberhart of Mandan, Bonnie (Wes) Holm of Jasper, TN; his aunt, Amelia Nevares; his uncle, Lennie (Pat) Ferguson; three nieces and eight nephews as well as many cousins; special friends, Rich Foss of Douglas and Jim Haider of Minot.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister, Rita Harris; brother, John Gerard Wolf; infant brother, James; infant sister, Marie and a sister-in-law, Kathy Wolf.
