Randy L. Champagne, 58, of Turtle Lake, ND died March 7, 2020 at his residence surrounded by family. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, March 12, 2020 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Randy Emgarten officiating. An additional service will be held in Belcourt at a later date.

Randy was born on February 19, 1962 in Belcourt, ND, the son of Raymond and Eileen (Shellum) Champagne. He was raised and educated in Belcourt. Randy worked at various places and was most recently employed as a heavy equipment operator at Falkirk Mine. Randy will always be remembered by his coworkers as a jokester. Randy enjoyed horses, especially race horses. He also enjoyed doing carpentry work and going to casinos with his wife and friends.

Randy is survived by his wife, Roxanne of Turtle Lake; his daughter, Brianna Champagne of Devils Lake, ND; his step children: Travis (Michelle) DeCoteau of Belcourt, ND, Ryan (Crystal) Parisien of Belcourt, ND, Kyler Parisien of Belcourt, ND and Mitchell (Nikki) Parisien of Belcourt, ND; nine step grandchildren; two brothers: Darrell (Debbie) Champagne of Belcourt, ND and Bryant Champagne of Belcourt, ND; three sisters: Paula Larson of Rolette, ND, Cherie Gunville of Bismarck, ND and Holly Gunville of Belcourt, ND and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles and a nephew and nieces.
