Obituary

Priscilla A. Hanson, 76, of Bismarck, ND passed away April 25, 2018 at Sanford Health in Bismarck following an accidental fall in her home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, April 30, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake with Pastor Sondra Krogstad officiating. Burial will follow in the Turtle Lake Cemetery with military rites offered by the Turtle Lake American Legion Post 133. Visitation will be held Monday one hour prior to time of service at the church.

Priscilla was born in 1941 to Clarence & Emma (Wolf) Hanson and was raised in Turtle Lake, ND. She graduated from Turtle Lake High School and attended the Bismarck School of Nursing. She entered the U.S. Air Force as a Nurse, 2 nd Lieutenant, and served two tours in Taiwan. Priscilla was stationed in Wichita Falls, TX, Labrador, Canada, Minot, ND, and lastly Forth Worth, TX where she retired from the military as a Captain. She moved to Colorado Springs, CO and was employed at Silver Key Senior Services and the Space Discovery Center.

In 1995, Priscilla moved to Bismarck to be closer to her family. She enjoyed volunteering at the North Dakota State Library, the MSA United Way, and RSVP Bismarck.

She is survived by her brother, Pastor Curt (Susan) Hanson of Turtle Lake; one sister, Sheila (Philip) Mayer of Rochester, MN; and nieces, Ondrea (Scott) Miller of Phoenix, AZ and their children Madelyn & Allison, Tisha (Steve) Scheuer of Bismarck and their children Onna & Faith.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
