Penny G. Scheer, 67, Underwood, ND passed away July 5, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of hospice.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday July 9, 2019 at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church, Underwood.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Rosary/Vigil Service at 7:00 PM Monday all at the church.

Penny was born June 8, 1952 in Bismarck, ND the daughter of Clifford and Inez (Ash) Stadick. She was raised and educated in Underwood where she graduated from high school in 1970. Penny attended NDSCS in Wahpeton where she received her LPN degree. She worked at the Garrison Memorial Hospital until her marriage. She married Jim Scheer on September 9, 1972 in Underwood. They lived in Underwood where she worked at the Underwood and Washburn Clinics for more than 20 years.

She enjoyed playing cards and dice, cooking, baking, camping and making photo albums. Penny will always be remembered for her love of family and friends. She cherished the time spent with family, especially attending her grandchildren's activities.

Penny is survived by her husband, Jim of Underwood; her daughters, Heather (Chad) Weisenberger of Underwood, Hope (Jeremy) Rush of Bismarck and Heidi (Juel) Anderson of Turtle Lake; her grandchildren, Paige (fiance Mitchell), Brooke, Bo, Logan, Gabby, Delaney, Julius, Owen, Zella and Asher; her sisters, LaRae (Roger) Krumwiede of Black Tail, ND, Gwen (Loren) Scheer of Cavalier, ND and Holly (Terry) Dammann of Underwood; her sister-in-law, Becky Stadick of Eudora, KS and many nieces and nephews. Penny is also survived by her special friends Jan, Nancy, Jackie, Ruby, Susie and many other special friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ashley Stadick.
