Pearl Dziuk, 75, of Underwood, ND died January 25, 2018 at Sanford Health in Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church, Underwood. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at the church followed by a 7:00 PM Rosary & Prayer Service. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at the ND Veteran's Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
Pearl was born June 29, 1942 to Vernon and Irene (Rice) Sullivan in Fargo, ND. She was raised in Lisbon, ND. After graduating from Lisbon High School she was employed with Delendrecie's of Fargo and later the Lisbon Red Owl. She married Larry Dziuk on October 12, 1963. Pearl and Larry lived in Pine City, MN; Elk River, MN; Devils Lake, ND and finally Underwood, ND. She raised five sons. While living in Devil's Lake, she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a Cub Scout leader. While living in Underwood, she was a past member of Harmony Homemakers, an active member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and Altar Society, she also helped with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for many years. She was an active volunteer in the Underwood community helping at the Underwood Well Child Clinic, Underwood Nursing Home, Underwood Civic Club, and Senior Citizen Center where she was also a member. She enjoyed spending time with her seven grandchildren, visiting with friends and tending to her beautiful flower garden.
Pearl is survived by her loving husband Larry of Underwood, ND; her five sons; Larry James and Rosemary Marlowe-Dziuk of Springfield, VA; Pat and Bobbi Jo, daughter Emmanuella of Shakopee, MN; Mike and Sarah, sons Logan and Carson of Woodinville, WA; William and Dr. Lynette of Culver, OR; their son Tyler of Portland, OR, and daughter Brea of Cedar Rapids, IA; Shawn and Heather, daughter Kathryn, son Kevin of Glen Ullin ND; along with brother Don (Darlene) Sullivan of Albert Lea, MN; brother Jerry (Colleen) Sullivan of Bella Vista, AR; sister Sharon (Lee) Wall of Crookston, MN; sister Kaye (Alden) Kempel of Stirum, ND; sister Jody (Jim) Hauge of Mandan, ND; sister Pat (Steve) Cole of Fargo, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
