Patricia Ann "Pat" Wahl, 88, of Turtle Lake, ND, died November 7, 2023 at Sanford Health.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake, ND with Pastor Russell Lambert officiating.  Burial will be in the Goodrich Cemetery.  Visitation will be held for 1 hour before the services on Friday.

Pat was born on October 14, 1935 in McHenry Country, the daughter of August Jr. and Pauline (Mertz) Kaibel.  She attended country school and helped on the family farm.  She attended beauty school in Jamestown and later opened Pat's Beauty Shop in Goodrich.

Pat married Ervin E. Wahl on December 17, 1966 St. Martin Lutheran Church in Anamoose, ND.  They made their home in Goodrich where she continued to own and operate the beauty shop until they moved to Turtle Lake, ND in 1977.  Pat worked at the SuperValu and also had a daycare in her home.  In 1985, they moved to Wishek where she worked at the SuperValu.  They returned back to Turtle Lake in 1992.  Ervin died in 2017.  Pat continued to live in Turtle Lake until her death.

Pat was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a life member of the Turtle Lake American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed volunteering, cooking, canning and gardening.

She will always be remembered as very feisty and spunky with a heart of gold!

Pat is survived by her son, Robin (Kellie) Wahl of Turtle Lake; grandchildren: Tanner Wahl and Karley (Josh) Thomas, all of Turtle Lake; 2 great grandchildren: Tycen and Ellie Thomas; sister-in-law,
Carol (Kaibel) DesLauriers of Rapid City and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 2 brothers: Mark Kaibel and Lenhardt Kaibel.
