Obituary
Orell LaHaise, age 88 of Underwood, ND, formerly of Wilton, ND, died Friday,
October 13, 2006 at the Prairieview Nursing Home in Underwood.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM Tuesday, Oct. 17 at
Goetz Funeral Home - Washburn. A graveside service will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Washburn.
Orell was born October 28, 1917 in rural Walsh County, ND, one of ten children born to Joseph & Rosanna (Lessard) LaHaise. He lived at home with his family until 1938 when he moved to the North Dakota State Developmental Center in Grafton, ND. In 1980, Orell moved to the Redwood Village in Wilton, ND. He enjoyed participating in the activities of the Redwood Village and established many friendships while living there.
He became a resident of the Prairieview Nursing Home in June 2001.
Orell is survived by one cousin, Marvin Sevigny of Hazen, ND
He was preceded in death by his parents, and nine brothers & sisters.
