Obituary
Opal K. Lipski, age 96 of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Washburn, died February 21st, 2012 at the West Melbourne Health & Rehab Center.
A graveside service will be held at 4:30 P.M. Friday, March 1st at the Riverview Cemetery in Washburn.
Opal was born June 10, 1916 to William & Clara Melick on the family farm near Washburn. She married Jim Lipski and together they farmed outside of Washburn. They retired in 1977 and moved to Melbourne, FL. Jim passed away in January 2001.
Known local survivors include a nephew, Vernon Kersey of Bismarck.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Jim), two sisters (Lula & Gladys), & two brothers (Gilbert & Marvin).
