Nicholas "Nic" Hatzenbihler, 41, Minot, ND died June 19, 2022 at Trinity Hospital, Minot.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Mercer Community Center, Mercer, ND.  Interment will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday at St. Martin's Cemetery, Center, ND.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Nicholas "Nic" was born December 26, 1980 in Buffalo, WY the son of Chuck and Sherry (Mason) Hatzenbihler.  He was raised and educated in Beulah, ND where he graduated from high school in 1999.  He worked for his aunt and uncle, Bonnie and Jeff and with his cousins, Daniel and John Paul at Captain Dan's Trading Post in Pick City.  Nic then attended Minot State University and continued to work in Minot. Nic had recently started to ranch and raise cattle.  He was a proud member of the MHA Nation.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping and spending time at their cabin at the lake.  Nic also enjoyed gardening with his mom, traveling and picking on his family and friends.  He enjoyed vacationing with his nieces and nephew and his yearly trips to Florida with his dad.

Nic will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh.  Family was very important to Nic and he cherished the time that was spent with them and his two dogs, "Bruce" and "Tuffy".

He is survived by his parents, Sherry (Lyle) Zinke of Mercer and Chuck Hatzenbihler of Center; his brother, Jesse (Erica) Hatzenbihler, Gillette, WY; his nieces, Cierra and Houston Hatzenbihler and his nephew, Alex Hatzenbihler; his grandfather, Matthew Mason of New Town, ND and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nic was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janice Anderson, Betty and Pete Hatzenbihler; his cousin, Daniel Klein and an aunt, Julie Hatzenbihler.
