Myron J. Janz, 78, Washburn, ND died May 2, 2002 at his home in Washburn.  Cremation will take place and memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, rural Makoti, ND with Wayne Johnson officiating.  Interment will be held in the church cemetery.

Myron was born December 1, 1943 in Minot the son of Alvin and Agnes (Knutson) Janz.  He was raised and educated in Makoti and graduated from the Makoti High School in 1963.  Myron lived in Seattle, WA where he worked for Boeing.  He later moved to Orlando, FL where he worked for an auto parts store for many years.  He returned to North Dakota in 2000 and resided in Ryder.  Myron later moved to Washburn where he resided until his death.  He enjoyed listening to baseball games and working on cars.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Janz of Hubbard, TX and Amanda Janz of Belleville, MI; his brothers, Allen Janz of Ryder and Jerry (Glynda) Janz of Mandan, ND and his sisters, Darlene (Rob) Nelson of Rochester, MN and Eloise (Arne) Breikjern of Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Kim Janz and three brothers, one in infancy, Ronald and Daryl.
