Myra Mae Rasmusson, 74, Underwood, ND died July 27, 2021 at Sanford Health, Bismarck, ND. Memorial services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Underwood with Pastor Nathan Schieber officiating.  Burial will be in the Turtle Lake Cemetery.

Myra was born on May 15, 1947 in Turtle Lake, ND, the daughter of John and Lorraine (Neumiller) Laib.  She was raised and educated in Mercer where she graduated from the Mercer High School in 1965.  Myra attended Dickinson State College where she graduated in 1974 with a teaching degree.  She married Arthur Maxwell Jr. on July 6, 1969 in Turtle Lake.  Following their marriage, they lived in Dickinson, Bismarck and Selfridge.  Myra taught school in Ft. Yates and Selfridge.  Arthur died in 1995 and Myra moved to Underwood.  She married Robert "Bob" Rasmusson on June 21, 1998 in Underwood.  Myra owned and operated Heaven's Scent Floral for 10 years.  She sold the business in 2006, but continued to help out when needed.  Myra was also an assistant librarian at the Underwood Public Library for several years.

Myra enjoyed baking, making wedding cakes, doing yardwork, taking care of her flowers and gardening, fishing, reading and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Myra is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Rasmusson, Underwood; a daughter, Jamie (Joshua) Fuller, Bismarck; a son, Christopher Maxwell, Underwood; four grandchildren: Jewel and Brock Maxwell and Autumn and Logan Fuller; a brother, Mervin Laib, Coon Rapids, MN; a niece, Rhonda (Doug) Basch, Coon Rapids and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband.
