Mildred "Millie" Leidholm, 88, Washburn, ND died April 14, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society-Sunset Drive, Mandan, ND.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 18, 2025, at First Lutheran Church, Washburn with Pastor Paul Krueger officiating.  Inurnment will be held in the Birka Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Millie was born May 20, 1936, in Hazen, ND, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Billings) Mantz.  She was raised and educated in Center.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Center.  At the age of two her mother died, and she was raised by her stepmother, Lena.  Millie married Lyle Lind, and they resided in Washburn.  Millie later married Lloyd Leidholm in 1979.  They lived in Washburn where she worked at Johnnie's Café, Jack and Jill Grocery Store.  She also worked as a custodian at the Memorial Hall, City Hall and for the Washburn Ambulance Bay. Millie was also an EMT for the Washburn Ambulance Service.

She enjoyed camping, gardening, canning and having coffee with the "Ladies coffee group" at Dakota Farms.  Millie had a Christmas buddy – "Roger Holznagel" who she exchanged gag gifts with every Christmas.

Millie is survived by her children, Barb (Greg) Kuntz of Bismarck, Lamont (Marcia) Lind of Washburn, Tracy Hickman of Evangeline, LA and Shelly Lester of Washburn; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a brother, Robert (Gail) Mantz of Mandan, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd in 2008; sons, Lonnie and Steven; her sons-in-law, Bruce Hickman and Michael Lester; her brothers, Lyle, Neal, Larry, Bob, Marvin, Ronnie and Gary.
