Mildred Persinger Arnts, 88, Bismarck, ND passed peacefully on March 5, 2019 in Bismarck. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Goetz Funeral Home in Washburn.

Mildred was born in Washburn ND in 1930, the daughter of Bernard and Nora (Christensen) Persinger.  She graduated from Mobridge High School, SD.  After moving to Bismarck to attend nurses training at the Bismarck School of Nursing, she met and married Allen Arnts, and together they raised four children.  The marriage later ended in divorce.

Mildred was blessed with musical talent and music was a great joy in her life.  With her beautiful operatic soprano voice, she sang at events and in the choir and for years was the soloist for the annual Handel's Messiah Christmas performance and radio broadcast from Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck.

Mildred is survived by her brothers Roger and Gordon and her four children Timothy, Michelle (KC) Clayson, Camille (Raymond) Eisenmann, and Douglas (Julia), seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sisters June, Darlene, and Betty.

The family is grateful to all who provided care, including the staff of St. Gabriel's Community and the CHI St. Alexius Health.
