Michael Max Guenthner, 49, rural Underwood, ND died December 5, 2020 at his residence.  Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 12, 2020.  The service will be live streamed on the St. John's Lutheran Church of Underwood Facebook page.

Mike was born December 30, 1970 in Bismarck the son of Max and Marge (Simenson) Guenthner.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Underwood.  He attended school in Underwood where he graduated salutatorian in 1989.  He then attended NDSU where he graduated with honors in 1994.  Mike farmed and ranched southwest of Underwood where he raised Black Angus cattle.  He enjoyed hunting and reading.  Mike was a hardworking, generous, kind and loyal man.  Mike was always ready to lend a hand.

He is survived by his fiancé, Amy Boucher and her family, Simone (Jarvis) Williams and their daughter, Lenise; his son, Pablo Guenthner; his parents, Max and Marge Guenthner; his sisters, Marci Guenthner (Brad Schmidt) and Mary (Alan) Klain and their children, Aaron and Amy; his aunts and uncles, Clarence (Shirley) Simenson, Paula Simenson, Mavis Anderson, Evie (Melvin) Wiedrich, Dorothy Bauer, Gladys Guenthner, many cousins and was blessed with many friends.
