Meda I. Hayner, age 87 of Turtle Lake, ND, formerly of Thornton, CO, passed away Monday, October 15, 2007 at Community Memorial Hospital in Turtle Lake.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Friday, October 19 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Thursday at Aspen Mortuary, 1350 Simms Street, Lakewood, CO.

Meda was born May 15, 1920 at Carlock, Illinois. She married Eugene Hayner on Sept. 14, 1940 in Illinois. They made their home in Colorado where she raised her family. Meda was a loving wife and remarkable mother. She loved to sing and praise the Lord. Eugene passed away on Dec. 24, 1985 in Colorado. Meda moved to Turtle Lake, ND in the year 2000 and has been a resident of the Community Memorial Hospital swing-bed for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two sons, Steve (Bobbi) Hayner of New Mexico, & Eric (Cheryl) Hayner of Turtle Lake, ND; and many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
