MaryAnn Weinberger, 68 of Turtle Lake, ND died December 25, 2016 at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday December 31, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake with Pastor Sondra Krogstad officiating. Interment will be in the spring in the Turtle Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

MaryAnn was born May 6, 1948 in Wishek, ND the daughter of David and Ella (Deide) Benkendorf. She was raised and educated in Wishek until she was 17 years old.

MaryAnn was a very sweet, kind, humble person and loving lady to say the least. She would help anyone she could. She always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing, cooking and baking.

She resided in Bismarck, ND for several years until she met William Weinberger and moved to Turtle Lake. Bill passed away in 2013 but she continued to make her home in Turtle Lake and loved it. She worked at CHI Community Memorial Hospital until her sickness no longer allowed her to. She had many friends in the community that looked out for her, especially Eileen Erdmann.

MaryAnn is survived by her children, Valerie (Kelvin) Thompson of Mandan, ND, Troy (Pamm) Teske of Bismarck, Melissa (Jim) Wetch of Lincoln, ND, Chad Teske of Bismarck and Jason (Kaylee) Haas of Bismarck; her six grandchildren, Wyatt, Harley, Hunter, Michael, Isabella, Beckett; her brother Delmar (Stevie) Benkendorf of Loveland, CO and her sister Alice Hall of Knoxville, TN. and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William "Bill" and a brother Steve Benkendorf.
