Mary O. Reimers, 104, Minot, ND died January 17, 2018 at Trinity Homes in Minot. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Birka Lutheran Church, rural Washburn, ND. Interment will be held in the spring in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

Mary was born February 28, 1913 on a farm near Emmet, ND the daughter of George and Emma (Pederson) Kingsnorth. She attended country school and high school in Garrison and Douglas. She married Ernest Reimers in October of 1937 in Underwood. Mary worked at the Washburn Hotel for a short period of time. Ernest died in March of 1963. Mary then moved to Bismarck where she worked at the Bismarck Hospital as a dietician in the kitchen for 15 years. She retired at the age of 62 and returned to Washburn. Mary moved at the age of 93 to her daughter's home in Missoula, MT where they enjoyed a few years together. Mary and her sister, Ann Jorde, resided at Edgewood Vista in Minot until Mary entered the Trinity Homes a couple months ago.

Mary enjoyed visiting with family and friends, travelling, dancing, playing cards and having a "little" coffee in her cream.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlyce Stroh of Missoula, MT; her son, Gary Reimers and his special friend, Alice Richard of Washburn; her grandchildren, Les Reimers, Loren Reimers, Greg Reimers, Mark Reimers, Crystal Parrish, Michelle Stroh Tarleton and Doreen Garvin; her great grandchildren, Matthew Reimers, Shannon Borlaug, James and Sean Tarleton, Eric and Summer Parrish and Kellie and Jessica Garvin and her sister, Ann Jorde of Minot.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Loren Kingsnorth, two sisters, Julia Sigman and Esther Kingsnorth.
