Mary Fueller, age 95 of Turtle Lake, ND, died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the Turtle Lake Community Memorial Hospital.

Mary Orman Fueller was born March 25, 1911 at Turtle Lake, ND, the first child born to Gottlieb and Katherina (Wagner) Orman. She attended rural school near Turtle Lake.
As a child, she became a confirmed member of the Turtle Lake Congregational Church. She married Otto Fueller on November 5, 1933 at the Turtle Lake Congregational Church. The couple lived and farmed on three different farmsteads north of Turtle Lake and raised 5 children. Mary was a faithful member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and was active with the Christian Women's group and the Lake Nettie Homemakers Club.
In 1971, Mary and Otto retired and moved into Turtle Lake where they became members of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mary was employed at the Turtle Lake Community Memorial Hospital for many years. Otto passed away in February 1989. She continued to make her home in Turtle Lake and enjoyed raising a garden, cooking, and baking.
She also enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting and embroidery.
She is survived by her children: DeLores (Dale) Byboth of Hudson, WI, Herbert (Ardella) Fueller of Turtle Lake, ND, Marian (Mark) Kinder of Las Vegas, NV, & Jenneil (Tom) Krier of Fargo, ND; son-in-law: Wayne Skinnemoen of Wendell, MN; 13 grandchildren: Mark Sha, Robert Sha, Steve Sha, Twyla Sha, Anthony Buddecke, Tara Reid, Nancy Erickson, John Byboth, James Byboth, Alana Fueller, Erin Fueller, Matthew Krier, Michael Krier; 3 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Ed (Freida) Orman of Turtle Lake, ND; many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Otto), daughters (Laura Lee Fueller & DelVera Skinnomoen), brother (John Orman), sisters (Freda Nantt & Alma Krein).
