Marie Coburn, age 77 of Bismarck, ND, formerly of Belfield, ND and Wilton, ND, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at a Bismarck nursing home.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM MT Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Sts. Peter & Paul Orthodox Ukranian Cemetery, north of Belfield, ND.

Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 PM Friday at the Goetz Funeral Home - Washburn.

Marie was born December 28, 1928 at rural Belfield, ND the daughter to Peter & Anna (Andresh) Hlibichuk. She attended school at the Green River District 4 country school near Belfield. She married George W. Coburn on July 20, 1956 at Salt Lake City, UT. Marie lived in Belfield for many years and was employed with the Roughrider Motel in Medora. She later moved to Wilton, ND and worked for a brief time at the Holiday Inn of Bismarck. George passed away in 1994 and Marie moved to Bismarck in 1995. She became a resident of the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in 1999. Marie spent her free time reading and solving crossword puzzles. She was a cat lover and enjoyed living her life in the country.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (George), 4 sisters (Pauline Shabosky, Ella Kassian, Linda Hallas, Ann Christensen), & 3 brothers (Mike Hlibichuk, Bob Hlibichuk, Sr., & John "Buster" Hlibichuk)
