Obituary
Lydia Holwagner, age 83 of Underwood, ND, formerly of Washburn, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Prairieview Nursing Home in Underwood.
A private family graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 1 at Riverview Cemetery in Washburn.
Lydia was born August 20, 1925 in rural McLean County, ND, the son to Christ & Carrie (Brockel) Holwagner. She was reared on the family farm and attended rural school. Lydia made her home in Washburn for many years. She became a resident of the Prairieview Nursing Home in August 2000.
She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Chris & Charelette Holwagner of Center, ND; seven sisters and two brothers-in-law, Hilda & Don Payette of Seattle, WA, Margie Recke of Seattle, WA, Viola Wilson of Billings, MT, Ellen Clifford of Minneapolis, MN, Leona & Dale Dawson of Tucson, AZ, Elsie Holwagner of Bismarck, ND, & Mary Murray of Sioux Falls, SD; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, & three brothers.
