Leslie Allen Landenberger "Les" died peacefully in St. Gabriels Benedictine Living Community on January 23, 2025, in Bismarck, North Dakota at the age of 84. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Bismarck Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in the Underwood City Cemetery at 1:30 PM. The Service will be live streamed on the church's website (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCojPuXfqieBO9sMrFEWSClw).
Les was born on May 16, 1940, to Rudolph and Emma Landenberger. He attended Underwood area schools. He married Ruby Mayer in 1959 which led to 65 loving years of marriage. Les farmed for a great majority of his life and retired in 2012.
His family remembers him as a kind and loving father/grandfather who cared deeply about others. His laughter and sense of humor will be missed by all who encountered him. Les was devoted to taking care of his beloved family.
Les was passionate about hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, gardening, and woodworking. He served on Local community Board's and was a devoted member of the Bismarck Baptist Church. One of our favorite summertime activities was our family get togethers on the 4th of July. Les was always entertaining his grandchildren with different firework displays. He had many friends, neighbors and family that will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his Wife, Ruby Landenberger, his children Bradley Landenberger (Carla) and Kimberly Welder, brother, Burnell Landenberger, his grandchildren McKenzie (Luke), Abigail, George Hunter (Sarah), and Lindsey (Jack), great grandchildren, Adelaid.
Les is preceded in death by his parents Rudolph and Emma Landenberger, and son-in-law, George Cory Welder.
