Leonard Roth, of Washburn, passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 83. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place.

Leonard was born on October 5, 1942, to Milton and Winifred (Miller) Roth and raised in New Leipzig, ND. He married Opal in 1969; soon after, in 1976, he moved to Washburn, ND to begin a family. Though not a man of many words, he enjoyed helping others with fixing various things.

He also enjoyed farming, gardening, vintage cars, country music, old westerns, hunting, fishing, and playing pull tabs. His family's favorite was his baking; he was known to make the best cookies and dumplings.

Leonard is survived by his wife Opal Roth; Sisters: Nina Hawn and Lutene Roth; Son: Dion Roth; Daughter Jessica (Paul) Lawson; and grandchildren Brooke and Elijah Lawson.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Milton and Winifred Roth; Sister: Peggy Zarr.
