Lena I. Norberg, 94, Killdeer, ND died September 5, 2020 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, ND with her family by her side.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM MDT until 11:00 AM MDT Friday, September 11, 2020 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Killdeer, ND.  Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM CDT Friday at the Butte Cemetery, Butte, ND with Pastor Randy Emgarten officiating.

Lena was born December 24, 1925 on a farm near Grassy Butte, ND the daughter of Alex and Katie (Velenchenko) Zabolotny.  She attended school in Grassy Butte and Butte, ND.  She married Glenn Norberg on June 25, 1949 in Washburn, ND.  Lena's sister, Margaret married Glenn's brother, Clarence Norberg at the same time in Washburn.  Lena and Glenn had two sons, Terry and Gary.  Terry was born in Minot, ND and Gary was born in Anaconda, MT.  They lived in Anaconda where Lena worked as a cook at the Park Café.   After they retired in 1980 they moved to Killdeer.

She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, canning, dancing and visiting with family and friends.

Lena is survived by her two sons, Terry (Debbie) Norberg of Anaconda, MT and Gary (Dorothy) Norberg of Killdeer; her grandchildren, Heidi, Austin, Ezra, Teshena, Craig, Jason, Travis and Kerrie; her 21 great grandchildren; her 2 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Margaret (Clarence) Norberg of Palm Coast, FL; her sister-in-law, Eunice Tyler of Alamosa, CO and many nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her special friends, Melanie, Katie and Alice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2004, a grandson, Chris, her brother, Tony Zabolotny and a sister, Anna Zabolotny.
