Kenneth L. Olson Jr., 67, of Turtle Lake, ND died August 17, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck, North Dakota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Turtle Lake with Fr. Charlie Heidt officiating. Interment will be held in Turtle Lake Cemetery with military rites provided by the Turtle Lake American Legion. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.

Kenneth was born on May 22, 1952 in Fosston, MN. He was raised in Bagley and Gully, MN. He moved to North Dakota at age 8. In 1969 Kenneth joined the US Army and was stationed stateside. In 1971, he was honorably discharged and returned to live with his grandmother in Bagley, MN. Upon returning to North Dakota, Ken worked for Lindteigen Construction for several years. He also worked in the gold mines in Nevada and Montana with heavy equipment.

In 1997, Ken married Sharon Anderson of Idaho. They just celebrated their 22 ^nd Anniversary on June 30, 2019.

Kenny enjoyed playing guitar and could sing any song requested of him. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. More than anything, Kenny enjoyed and loved his grandchildren along with his dog Bella and kitty cat. Kenny was a member of Turtle Lake American Legion Post 133.

Kenny is survived by his wife Sharon, Turtle Lake; daughter, Erika (John) Olson, Mandan, ND; sons, Kasey (Velvet) Olson, Bismarck and Curtis Olson, Bismarck; step daughter, Traci Watson, Idaho; step son, Jeremy Anderson, Idaho; mother, Darlene Jacobs, Turtle Lake; brothers: Lonnie Jacobs, Underwood and Shawn Millar, Eagle, Idaho; step brother, Bill Jacobs, New Town; step sisters: Marilyn Jacobs, Parshall, Sharon Jacobs and Tammy Jacobs both of Twin Buttes; Grandchildren: Shae, Brayton, Kylee, Grace, Jackson, and Kendall; great grandchildren: Taeya and Alayna; step grandchildren: Caitlin, Taylor, Kenny & Lakota; Aunt Florence (Olson) Martine, Shelly, MN and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kenny had many good friends since 1 ^st grade, Butch (Kathy) Boe, Bagley, MN and Dan (Dawn) Rivera, Leonard, MN.

Kenny was preceded in death by his dad in Korea; a sister, Kathy Millar; step dad, Eugene Jacobs and step-son, Kenny.
