Kenneth Lange, age 68 of Hensler, ND passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 at a Bismarck hospital following a short illness.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Center, ND;
Rev. Dennis Ristvedt, officiating.
Interment: Hensler Cemetery
Visitation: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday at Goetz Funeral Home – Washburn;
Saturday, one hour prior to time of service at the church.
Kenneth T. Lange was born Sept. 12, 1940 at rural New Salem, ND to Fred & Helen (Bethke) Lange. He attended rural school near New Salem and later worked as a farmhand for area farmers. Kenny married Donna Fisher on Oct. 6, 1962 in New Salem. They made their home in Hensler, ND where Kenny lived until the time of his death. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for many years and retired in 1998. Kenny enjoyed his job and made many friends throughout his years of employment. He loved to garden, hunt, and go fishing. A special event he looked forward to each year was the Old Man & Kid fishing derby in Stanton. He and his grandkids enjoyed the fishing derby for many years. Kenny loved to visit with people and always had a smile for everyone. He will be missed by his loving family and many friends.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Donna Lange of Hensler; three daughters, Sandy (Dean) Schell of Washburn, Cindy (Dennis) Beckman of Hannover, ND, & Tammy (Scot) Pearson-Hepp of Wright, WY; one son, Mike Lange of Jamestown, ND; grandchildren, Kayla & Matthew, Cody, Samantha, & Paige, Brittany & Devon, and Lacey & Miranda; one great-granddaughter, Chloe; two brothers-in-law, Arnold (Sandy) Fisher of Hensler, & Arlen (Sheila) Fisher of Mandan; one sister-in-law, Ellen Lange of Center; and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers (Ed, Bill, & Donald), his mother & father-in-law (Clarence & Gertie Fisher), a son-in-law (Kirby Pearson), and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
