Kenneth Lyle Doepke, 90 of Bismarck, ND died April 10, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center, Bismarck. Per Kenny's request, there will not be a funeral service. Goetz Funeral Home of Washburn will be handling the cremation and will lay Kenny to rest in Riverview Cemetery in Washburn, ND.

Kenny is a native North Dakotan, born on September 17, 1928. He was raised on the Doepke farm near Wilton, ND. He was the 3 ^rd of 12 children born to Oscar W. and Myrtle Martha (Carvell) Doepke. As a young man, he owned his own trucking business and as time went on he began to drive for a number of other companies.

In June of 1949, Kenny married Arlene Reimers and together they had 2 children, Wayne Dale and Rebecca (Becky) Ann, who gave them 2 grandchildren, Rachel (Wayne) and Travis (Becky).

Kenny married Serena (Henke) in November of 2012 and together they made their home in Bismarck, ND.

Kenny loved spending time with his family. Kenny was also an avid rock collector, who enjoyed holding, cutting and polishing the many rocks he had collected on his travels throughout the country. He loved to share the many stories that came with them to anyone willing to listen. Those rocks are as polished and special as he is to all of us.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Serena; his daughter, Becky Doepke of Center, ND; two sisters: Shirley (Donald) Eman of Bismarck, ND and Audrey Pauling (Wesley Sauer) of Washburn, ND; and one brother, David (Jeannie) Doepke of Polson, MT and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Arlene in 2005 and his son, Wayne.
