Judy Christensen, age 64 of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of Turtle Lake, ND, died September 28, 2012 in Fort Worth after an eight-year battle with leukemia.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 2, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fort Worth, Texas. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 6th at the Turtle Lake Cemetery.

Judy was born on Jan. 17, 1948 in Bismarck, ND. She grew up on a farm near Turtle Lake, ND and graduated from Turtle Lake High School. After graduation from Minot School of Business, she worked in administration, including the Boeing Company in Rapid City, S.D., where she met Gary and took on the new challenges as an Air Force spouse. She continued to work at various times throughout her life as an executive secretary, fashion model, and sales consultant.

Judy devoted her time, talent and treasure to many volunteer organizations. She was a longtime member of St. Matthew's care team, consoling the sick, caring for AIDS patients, and bringing communion to the shut-ins.

To those she loved, there was no one more loyal. She could light up a room like no other. She will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; two sisters, Sharon Mertz (husband David), Betty Miller (husband Jerry); three brothers, Lee Reiser, Jr., Jeff Reiser (wife Nikki), Jerry Reiser (wife Debbie); 16 nephews and nieces; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
