Judd Myers, 84, formerly of Washburn, ND died March 6, 2021 in a Bismarck care center.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Underwood Cemetery, Underwood, ND.  The graveside service will be livestreamed on Judd's obituary page on the Goetz Funeral Home website.

Judd was born December 10, 1936 in Langdon, ND the son of Dwight and Olga (Nelson) Myers.  He was raised and educated in Langdon.  He farmed with his father until 1970 when he then joined the Local 563 Union as a laborer.  Judd married Carol Rode on February 12, 1973 in Thief River Falls, MN.  They lived in Park River, ND until moving to Washburn in 1977.  Judd continued working for the Union and also managed the Heritage Heights Apartment Complex in Washburn.  Carol and Judd also maintained the rest area south of Washburn on highway 83 for many years.

He loved being outdoors in his yard or garden and could fix about anything.  Judd loved playing bingo, going to the casino and collecting toy cars.  Judd will always be remembered for his strong work ethic.  His confidence and determination never allowed his health issues to slow him down.  Judd was also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Underwood.

Judd is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Beau) Massey of Mandan, ND, Jolene Myers of Mandan, ND, Cindy (Jack) Fone and Connie (Donnie) Koontz both of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Kayla (fiancé David), Kordell, Brandon, Zachary, Daniel (Tamara) and Catherine; one great grandson; his sisters, Betty Skjerva of Langdon, Carol (Ken) Nickerson of Cavalier, ND, Judy Cox of Cavalier and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol in 2009; a son, Jason in 2020; two brothers, Richard and one in infancy and a sister, Ruth Arens.
