John John Blotske, age 49 of Underwood, ND, died March 23

, 2014 in Underwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church, Underwood, ND, with Father Patrick Cunningham officiating and Father Frank Schuster Concelebrating. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the church ion Underwood, there will be a prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue for one hour before the services at the church.
John John was born March 21, 1965 in Mandan, ND to John & Marion "Mary" (Riehl) Blotske. As a young child, he lived in Selfridge, ND with his family before moving to Ballard, Washington in 1968. In 1970, his family moved to Underwood. John-John attended kindergarten through 12
th
grade in the Underwood Public School, graduating in 1983. He worked for Reuben Broneske Well Drilling for several years as a young adult. John John married Terilyn Baumann on October 5, 1991 and fathered four children, Zackary, Cassidy, Courtney, & Jordan. Much like his father & brothers, John John was a well-known grain cleaner, along with a story-teller and jokester. He was an avid collector of gas station memorabilia and enjoyed old cars. He also took interest in airplanes and motorcycles. John John loved a good card game with friends and having fun. He was interested in many things this world offered and would often comment "Hey, that's pretty neat!" He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Teri of Underwood; 4 children, Zack (Sara) of Dickinson, Cassidy of Underwood, Courtney of Bismarck, & Jordan of Mandan; 2 grandchildren, Brinley & Shailynn; 3 brothers, Allen (JoAnn) Blotske of Bismarck, Dale (Marcia) Blotske of Underwood, & Joe (Laura) Blotske of Underwood; 1 sister, Val (Curtis) Kinn of Underwood; his mother-in-law, Lynn Baumann of Valley City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and a son-in-law (Neil Drake)..
