Obituary
John Duhr, 88, of rural Hensler, ND, died May 7, 2016 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Washburn United Methodist Church with Pastor Cory Thrall officiating.
John J. Duhr was born March 26, 1928 at Rosebud, ND to Johann & Hattie (Lesch) Duhr.
John married Edna Link on July 26, 1960 in Golden Valley, ND. They made their home on the family farm south of Hensler, ND where they raised cattle, pigs, chickens, and small grains.
John is survived by his wife Edna; three daughters, Dorthy Duhr of Hensler, ND, Donna (Daniel) Horwitz of Waukesha, WI, & Carol Duhr (Kevin Connelly) of Westby, WI; grandchildren, Kalila, Johan, & Garrin Horwitz, and Alison Connelly; sister-in-law, Lydia Brecht of High River, Alberta; several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother (Harold) & an infant brother, sister (Kathleen Windhorst) & an infant sister.
